Some of us don’t really know how to pray.
Some of us believe that prayers should always be directed to others, never for ourselves. Nothing could be further from the truth.
God wants to hear from us about our needs. He is eager to hear our personal desires. He wants and expects us to call on him in good times and bad.
Pray to him for your own increase in life. there’s nothing selfish about praying to God on your own behalf.
How can you help others, if you’re in no position to help yourself !
Ask God for all things, he wants you to have all that you desire. God is eager to give us his kingdom.

Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain.” So God granted him what he requested.
